About Our Countryside Cooking Classes

Our Country Cooking Classes offer people across Japan the opportunity to experience traditional Japanese cooking in the comfort of their own homes, using special ingredients harvested in Nakatsugawa, Yamagata Prefecture.
This time, we’ll be making the dishes you can see on our menu page. Please check that page for a list of ingredients and information on what you will need to prepare at home.
In advance, you will receive by post enough ingredients for two servings. On the day of the class, Nakatsugawa B&B hosts will teach you in an online group setting, with Japanese-English interpretation.
Our Countryside Cooking Classes will take place at 10:00 AM-1:00 PM JST on dates with sufficient participant interest. You can currently pre-register for Country Cooking Classes on June 20 (Sun) or June 27 (Sun) by placing an order. We will take your payment details when you pre-register, and you will only be charged if your booking is confirmed.
Once there is sufficient interest in a particular candidate date that you pre-registered for, you will receive confirmation by email, notifying you of the time and date of the class.
